Obituary of David A. Carter
David A. Carter, age 63, of Plainfield, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. David was born in Chicago, IL on October 20, 1958, the son of the late John and Alice (nee Ababurko) Carter.
David grew up the Chicagoland area and was a graduate of Howard Taft High School. He was a truck driver, most recently working for Viking Electric, Addison, IL. He was an avid bowler and was active in leagues at Joliet Town & County Lanes and AMF Forest Lanes in Lyons, IL. His other passions include fishing, watching football and hockey.
He will be remembered fondly for all the joy and laughter he brought to his family and friends.
He is survived by the love of his life, Sylvia Paredes; his loving children, Jennifer (Mitch) Terzo, Lauren (Marc) Trester, and Scott (Sydney) Carter; loving step-children, Felicia (John Circelli) Acosta, Catherine (Louis Polo) Orozco, Angelo (Amanda) Paredes; his adoring grandchildren, Anthony and Dominic Terzo, Stella Trester, Aiden Carter, Jonathon (Lorraine) Circelli, Jianna Circelli, and Jeanine Circelli, Sylvia Guzman, Angelina Polo, Savannah Tischina, Victoria Rivas, Nathalia Polo, and Angelo Paredes, Jr.; adored great-granddaughter, Giselle Circelli; his dear sister, Geri (Scott) Wagner and brother, John (Jannette) Carter; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends also survive.
Visitation for David A. Carter will be Friday, May 6, 2022 from 3:00-8:00 pm at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Bienemann officiating. Interment will follow at Risen Lord Cemetery, Oswego, IL.
