Age 57, of Joliet, IL passed away Friday evening May 13, 2022 at home surrounded by her family after a long and brave battle of Covid and related complications.
Sula was born in Greece December 4, 1964 the daughter of the late Agnes (nee Karagounis) and Akilas Tolios. She was a longtime area resident and you may remember her being the local business owner, years ago, of Samy’s Bar and Grill. She attended Troy Grade Schools and Joliet West High School.
She is the beloved wife of Lloyd Tinsman; loving mother of Christina (Tracy) Kuykendall and Alexander Andrew; and proud “Yia Yia Mom” of Owen, Charlie and Benjamin. Sula, a very adventures woman who was proud of her Greek heritage, truly treasured being with her family. She loved to cook as well as travel, especially back home to Greece.
