McKenzie,
Sweetie,
You were the sweetest little lady I’ve ever crossed paths with.
When I met you, I instantly knew you were a very special person.
I pray your mind, body, and spirit are at peace.
God has gained a beautiful Angel.
Love and light to your family.

I have so many beautiful memories of
McKenzie starting with her birth- through her transformation to adulthood. One memory that always makes me laugh is that McKenzie and my daughter Amanda would always end up biting or scratching each other whenever they came together to play as toddlers . Peggy and I would try to monitor them but they were both really strong. One day they played together upstairs and they both came down crying because they had a true brawl which ended in a little bit of blood but they were best friends a few minutes later. She was a tough cookie. She called me before rehab and said Don’t worry Momma, I’m ok just take care of yourself. I told her I loved her with all my heart and that I was so proud of her. She was so grateful for the encouragement. I’m broken hearted but I did get a visitation from her the evening she passed along with Pegs Mom. . I know is in a better place . I will always love her and she has a permanent place in my heart.

McKenzie was outgoing, sparkly, and talkative person. She would come by and we would talk about various things. She bought me this white metal sign that said SWEET DREAMS and a WHITE ELEPHANT . Also a beautiful card with a note. I will cherish it. SWEET DREAMS McKenzie. The angels are watching over you.

It was such a pleasure to have known you in school! The few classes I had with you I can still hear your laughter and genuine personality. You were to young to have left but you leave unforgettable memories for those who had the privilege of knowing you! Rest in Peace!

So sorry to hear about McKenzie. Both my son and daughter were friends with her back in their school days. A shining light definitely gone too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family during this difficult time.

I called Kenz After a song “Mo Momba “ because she always ate Mombas candy it was her favorite! We would take random drives talk think and Dream. Honestly we done A lot of things together that reminded me of A first best friend as a kid. We would polish one another’s nails, Borrow clothes, Sleep over , eat food and eat more, when we would go out sometimes I’d say no I can’t tonight I’m low on cash she would always says what’s mines is your I want u to come so GET DRESSED! I’m outside your house lol. From the fun to deep talks, arguments , Random adventures , Baking in her kitchen yelling at her cat lol , we would legit laugh at ANYTHING! She always told me when I did her hair and lashes that she looked up to me and felt that when she neeeded me most with her anxiety or A problem she thanked me for having the best words and felt like I was the only one who understands . She ALWAYS wanted to help others and uplift women even if she wasn’t 100% confident of herself SHE ALWAYS GAINED IT FROM UPLIFTING OTHERS. I wish I can dance to our two favorite songs just one more time … to “playBoi carti (Home) …now I play it knowing that you are home… I’ll slap my Pastor for one more 2 hour FaceTime call from you.. love u mo momba sincerely Jas
