I had the privilege of getting to know Don (and his partner in crime Dinks) when I moved to Michigan in 2017. Two things that immediately come to mind are his engaging conversations and his love for his family. It's hard to pick a memory because I tremendously enjoyed all my conversations with him - from the laughs to the political discussions to all the family updates. I'm a Krause cousin but he & Pat immediately made me feel welcome as part of the extended family, which is quite the honor. Don was so happy, proud, and full of love when he talked about his family (from the Don nickname system to all the family-related travels). He will be missed greatly and remembered fondly.

Paula and Family. It was so nice to read the obituary about your father. I'm sure he would appreciate such honorable words being said about him.
From The Morton side of the family, uncles and aunts to Kevin Krause, you all and your father are in our prayers. - Uncle John A. Morton.
