Obituary of Jeffrey Hanson

Jeffrey A. Hanson Age 57. Sunday, November 8, 2009 at the Morris Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Geneva, IL and a longtime Morris resident. Former President of A.A. Hanson Associates retiring after over 30 years of service. A member of the Gideons and past President of the Joliet Chapter of the I.S.A.. A member of Peace Chapel Assembly of God where he has been a deacon for many years. Preceded by his grandparents. Survived by his loving wife of 30 years Donna (nee Deckard) Hanson of Morris; three daughters, Alissa (Josh) Martinson of St. Paul Park, MN, Kristin Hanson of Downers Grove and Valerie Hanson of Benton Harbor, MI; two twin grandchildren, Olivia and Noah Martinson; two brothers, Dr. Eric (Susan) Hanson of Edmonds WA. and Brad (Lilli) Hanson of Wautoma, WI; one sister, Laura (Jon) Aagesen of Harvard, IL. His father Arnold (the late Barbara) Hanson of Schaumburg, IL. His mother Bernice (Edwin) Steffen of Harvard, IL. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A memorial service for Jeffrey A. Hanson will be held Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Chapel Assembly of God, 852 School Street, Morris, pastors James Hightshoe and Mike Massey officiating. As it was Jeffrey's request, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials to Peace Chapel Assembly of God or the Gideons in his name would be appreciated.
