Edward C. Azman
"Ed"
Age 87. Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet area resident. A WWII U. S. Army veteran serving in the European Theater. Retired from Iron Workers Local #444 after over 45 years of service. A life member of American Legion Post #1080. One of his greatest loves in life was spending time with his grandchildren.
Preceded by his parents, John and Mary Azman; four brothers, John (Christine), Frank, Charles, and William (Margaret) Azman; four sisters, Stephanie in infancy, Sr. Mary Emmerentia OSF, Pauline (August) Sukley, and Ann Stilley.
Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Earline (nee Kinert) Azman; one daughter, Amy Hietschold; two grandsons, Andrew and Nicholas Hietschold; one granddaughter, Sarah Hietschold; two sisters, Rosemary (the late Thomas) Campbell of Joliet, and Dorothy (the late Raymond) O'Connor of Minooka; and one sister-in-law, Bettina Azman of Joliet. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Edward C. Azman will be Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 4-8 p.m. at:
