My thoughts and prayers are with the Pubentz family. Gerry was a kind and caring person…a great support on the JCA Alumni Board. His sense of humor made every meeting enjoyable. I am grateful to having known him. Deepest sympathy..

In honor of a great man who taught us so much: how to love God, family, and country; how to be strong but humble; how to laugh. You will be missed. Join in honoring their life - plant a memorial tree

My sincere sympathy to Jerry's family. He will be missed. Grew up with Jerry in Marquette Gardens. He was a friend of
both of my brothers, John & JIm. Also, I assisted Jerry in planning the Marquette Gardens reunion in the early 1990's.
Will miss his posts both on FB and Joliet memories.
Rest in peace, Jerry.

I have known Gerry for 70 years, as we grew up together in Marquette Gardens. He was my BEST friend. When my wife Sharon died in 2021, Gerry was there for me. He called me 10 days in a row after the funeral, sometimes twice a day, to see if he could do anything for me. That is a BEST friend.

My sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Jerry was a very kind man and I always looked forward to seeing him every spring. He would shop at my store, EASTSIDE GREENHOUSE in Joliet and get most of his garden needs. He always had a kind word. May his memory be eternal.
Sincerely,
Susan Harkis
