Obituary of Caryl Heintz

Caryl L. Heintz (nee McNeil) Age 73, of Crest Hill, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born July 23, 1935 in Joliet to Robert and Blanche (nee Wassmer) McNeil, she was a graduate of Joliet Township High School. Member of KSKJ. An avid sports fan, she loved the Cubs, Bulls, and Bears. She also enjoyed her many friends, playing cards, traveling and fishing. She will be remembered as a loving mom and devoted grandmother. Survived by her children, Paula (David) Soave of Morris, Robert (Ginger) Heintz of Wilmington, Scott Heintz of California and Kris (Bill) Teerling of Lockport; six grandchildren, Stephanie Soave, Jacob Heintz, Samantha Heintz, Richard Heintz, Sam Teerling and Amanda Teerling; her sister and best friend, Sandy (Val) Gudac of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends and her beloved companion, Star. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Heintz (1997); and parents. Funeral Services for Caryl L. Heintz will be Friday, December 19, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.
