Obituary of Richard C. Farmer
Richard C. Farmer
Age 87, a longtime New Lenox, IL resident passed from this life on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at approximately 4:30 a.m.
He was born March 31, 1935, in Big Sandy, TN to the late Pauline and Willy Farmer. He had one sister and four brothers.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Migala (Terry Cannon), and son, Randy Farmer (Jacqueline Merle); two grandchildren, Charlotte and Carlton.
Preceded in death by his wife, Donna Farmer; son, Richard Farmer Jr., daughter, Sharon Farmer, brother, Kenneth Farmer, sister, Betty Farmer, and his parents.
Richard founded Von Stoltz Kennels producing superior bloodline German Shepherds for over 50 years. This was a lifelong passion.
He will be remembered as a charming, charismatic, albeit irreverent man who was quick with a smile. You could always count on him in a pinch, and he did not judge easily. He loved his children and grandchildren and was loved in return. Although he will be missed, his loved ones are truly thankful he lived a wonderful, long life.
As it was Richard's wish, cremation rites have been accorded and services will be held privately.
