Obituary of Steven Patrick Houlihan
Steven Patrick Houlihan, age 55, passed away with his loving family at his side at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center on Monday, December 26, 2022. He was the owner and operator of Top Notch Painting for over 20 years. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Most importantly, he was a loving and devoted son, brother, and uncle. He will be greatly missed.
Steve is survived by his mother, Judy Houlihan; brothers, Mike Houlihan and Tom (JoAnne) Houlihan; niece, Brigit Houlihan; and nephews, Sean (Katie) Houlihan and Kyle Houlihan.
He is preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Houlihan, III.; brother, Edward J. Houlihan, IV; and his grandmothers, grandma Ellen and Grandma Suess.
All friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of Steve's life on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, Joliet. Everyone is asked to bring a nice photo or two of Steven in happier times for the family to make a scrap book of memories.
Cremation rites will be accorded following services, and Steve will be laid to rest next to his father and brother at a later date.
