The Quitman County High School Class of 1980, offer our Prayers and condolences to the Shaw and Davis Family on behalf of our dear classmate Reverend Johnny Davis Sr. As he mourns the loss of his sister, Mae Onie Shaw. We pray for you, with you and share your grief. Knowing the Lord as we do. She is in a better place and the Lord will provide the comfort needed during this most difficult time. Grandma, I love you more than words can form! I will cherish our moments and phone conversations forever. The way you remembered everyone’s birthday(children ,grandchildren, and great grandchildren) and made sure you called them on their day was nothing short of amazing. I know it made me feel special. This May will not be the same. The recipes you would share (I found the toll house chocolate chip pie recipe online. But i hope to find yours. I will hold the last words to me very close to my heart! To the entire Shaw family: James and I truly express or deepest condolences for the home going of Mother. Mae Shaw. Mother Mae was a special lady. I viewed her as the matriarch of her family. She always carried herself with such grace and elegance. Mom had a kind heart for all, but she kept herself from gossip. Her and pops devoted their time to each other. They would often dress alike an share one meal together. James and I became their Kansas City kids. We planned many adventures together playing bingo and having a good time. Our hearts are heavy with the changes we have to accept, but we will never forget all the wonderful memories that live in our hearts. Love You.. James and Veronda Williams
