Earl Edward Hansen

Earl Edward Hansen, age 95, of Missouri City, Texas and formerly of Romeoville, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, March 2, 2023. Earl was born on May 16, 1927, to the late Nettie and Christy Hansen in Chicago, IL where he was raised and educated.  He was a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served his country during WW II. 

Earl is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Nick) Griffin and Diane (Jerry) Hansen-Hensley; one son, Kurt (Anna) Hansen; and three grandchildren, Justin (Michala) Hensley, Brittany Hansen and Tyler Hansen.

He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia V. Hansen (nee Sequens). They were married for 57 years living in Chicago, Palos Hills, and Romeoville.

Visitation for Earl Edward Hansen will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet, from 10:00 am until the time of Funeral Service at 11:30 am.  Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
