Obituary of Priscilla Lee Cavallo
Priscilla Lee Cavallo, age 86, passed away March 21, 2023 at her home in Plainfield, surrounded by her immediate family. Priscilla was born on January 22, 1937, the daughter of the late John Sr., and Dolores (nee Hohmann) Lukes in Chicago.
Priscilla graduated from Immaculata High School in Chicago. She was active in the Catholic Young Adults Group where she met Bill and they were married and eventually settled in Northbrook and Arlington Heights, IL. There she became active in her Republican Political Party career. She was the local Precinct Captain and was later elected as the Elk Grove Township Clerk. In later years she served as a Judge of Election.
Priscilla enjoyed playing Bunco with the ladies in the neighborhood and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survived by her loving and adoring husband, Bill Cavallo; her children, Ruth (Michael) Koziol and Mark (Rhonda) Cavallo; her grandchildren, Christopher Koziol, Kaitlyn (Noah) Caldwell, Julia (Aaron) Braddock and Jeremy Cavallo; her sister, Patricia (John) Lucas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Georgianna (Frank "Midge") Battista; and her brother, John (Linda) Lukes, Jr.
Visitation for Priscilla Cavallo will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Risen Lord Cemetery in Oswego.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
