Obituary of Rose Trione

Rose Olinda Higginbotham nee Trione Age 84, passed away December 5, 2009 in Zion, IL. She was born February 19, 1925 in Collinsville, IL. to the late John and Gertrude (nee Neuenschwander) Trione. She resided in Waukegan most of her life. Rose was retired from the editing department of the Chicago Sun-Times. She is survived by a daughter-in-law Doris Higginbotham; granddaughter Donna (Larry) Rawn; great grandson Timothy Rawn. Also one sister Mary (late Augustus) Knorr; a brother-in-law Arthur (Sylvia) Higginbotham and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by her siblings Emil (Agnes) Malfatti, George (Lois) Malfatti, Dorothy (late Edward) McCarthy and a step-sister Frances (late Albert) Strickland. All friends and relatives are invited to gather at the funeral home on Saturday, January 23, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. until the memorial service begins at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Joliet. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. FRED C.
