Niko and my daughter Lana shared a special bond at school. They held hands in class when the teacher wasn’t looking and she loved to help push his chair. They enjoyed a field trip to Walt’s for ice cream, going outside for recess, and other school activities together. We were so hoping that Niko and Lana would be in the same class for the upcoming school year but God had other plans. We will miss Niko very much and always keep his memory in our hearts.
