Thank you to Pat for taking a chance with me as the cook at the Golf Course, my new skills and quality of food was top notch. Pat tried so hard to teach me the political part of the business in that I didn’t learn quick enough. Pat was such a positive, hard working farm girl. She had fun with family, friends and all she came involved with. She fought the hard fight too many times and won until the last challenge. Will sorely miss her Smile, good words and hard work. Thanks to her family for sharing Pat with the rest of the world. It’s never easy to lose someone but glad she is not suffering. Love your passions !!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I really liked Pat. I had never been on a working farm and she showed me all around. Dion and Ryan were friends and were back and forth between our homes. The Bull they use to ride and play with I think his name was Jesse. These are one of my finest memories from when we lived in Channahan. Thank You Pat.
God Bless you. Rest in peace.
I will always remember you.

I loved reading all the memories when my mom and dad passed away so here’s mine:
At one of the GNO’s before the last trip, Patti told me she finally got a full time care giver for her mom so she can get away for a few hours during the day and told me we should do lunch sometime. A few weeks later I called and asked if she wanted to meet up somewhere and we met for lunch at Shakers in Ottawa. 3+ hours later we’ll after we had finished our lunch we were still talking, looked at our watches and decided we had better leave before our husbands sent a search party after us. When I went to see her after she came home from the hospital she mentioned doing that again even though we both knew that probably wasn’t going to happen. It made my heart happy that that 3 hour lunch meant so much to her as it meant alot to me too, getting to know her better that day. I am happy so many of our Beach Party family were able to visit with her in the last couple weeks, I know that meant alot to her too. She was the strongest, kindest woman I have ever met and had a momma bear great love and protective for her family. A while ago a friend of mine posted condolences for a mutual friend that simply said May her next journey be filled with happy reunions. The thought behind those words have stayed with me and have given me comfort. It is especially helpful with Pattis passing as I think of her being reunited with her beloved grandson. My sincere and deepest condolences to her family, although her body is not with us anymore, her spirit will live on and surely be watching over those she loved

Remembering Pat as a loyal hard working and true friend and Minooka Class of 70 member. Enjoyed getting reaquainted in recent year or two after being farm "neighbors". She was proud of her farm and we lamented to being "Farm Girl Tough" . She certainly was all in whatever her family and friends were doing! She will be missed greatly. Condolences to all. A very wise woman once told us the value of the word FOCUS!!! Priceless wisdom, friendship and love of family (whether blood or beach) were her greatest gifts. Such an example of family values and hard work - without complaint. Pat will be missed, and always loved and remembered.
