Diana Holderfield
(nee Jackson)
Age 48, of Ransom and formerly of Morris, died suddenly, Sunday April 5, 2009 at her home. Born in Kenvir, Kentucky September 25, 1960 to Vivian (nee Monhollen) and the late H.T. Jackson. She was raised in Morris and attended Minooka schools, graduating with the class of 1978 at Minooka High School. She earned an associates degree from Joliet Junior College and a bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems from Illinois State University.
Diana was the beloved wife of 29 years to Gregory A. Holderfield; Loving mother of Jennifer (Justin) Modro, J.T. and Lily Holderfield. Devoted daughter of Vivian Jackson; fond sister of Judy (Mark) Pershey and J.R. Jackson and sister-in-law of Marsha Coley. Also surviving are her aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her father.
Diana's career in Computer Data Analysis spanned over 30 years. She was a member of Ambassadors For Christ Church and involved with the Grapevine Mission and the former Under His Wings. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and will fondly be remembered for her kind hearted ways and for always putting others first.
Funeral services for Diana Holderfield will be Friday, April 10, 2009, 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor William Stinnett officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at:
