Obituary of John Holderfield

John T. Holderfield Age 82, of Minooka, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Morris Hospital after a long illness. Survived by his wife Helen of 59 years. One daughter, Marsha Coley, one son Greg Holderfield. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Four sisters and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, mother, two sisters and one granddaughter. Born in McClure, IL. in 1928. He served in the U.S. Army with active service in Korea. Retired from Caterpillar Inc. after 36 years of service. Former member of the volunteer fire department of Minooka; also former Minooka Lions Club. Funeral Services for John T. Holderfield will be Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at: FRED C.
