Obituary of Michael Holt

Michael Dennis Holt "Mike" Age 43. Suddenly Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. A Joliet area resident since 1988. Attended Indiana University. Employed by the U.S. Postal Service, and Grace Pointe Church in Plainfield as a worship leader using his amazing musical talents to bring worship to his Lord. Mike was a former youth director at the Christian Youth Center in Joliet, who enjoyed all music, the Cubs, NASCAR, Indiana basketball, cooking and quality time with his family. Survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Jenny (nee Kreis) Holt; three children, Katie, Marshall and Holli Holt all of Shorewood; his father, Dennis Holt of Shorewood; his mother, Marion (James) Smith of Marlette, MI; one sister, Lindy (Tim) Siefker of Westfield, IN; and one brother, Bryant (Jill) Holt of Channahon; in-laws, several nieces, nephews and extended family. Michael Dennis Holt will Lie in State on Monday, March 22, 2010 at First Assembly of God Church, 1741 Essington Road, Joliet from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Pastor John Bell officiating.
