Obituary of Jennie Honiotes

Honiotes, Jennie (nee Calamaras) Age 82, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at her home. Born November 12, 1928 in Joliet to the late Paraskevas and Catherine (nee Bonas) Calamaras, she was a long time Joliet resident until moving to Ft. Myers several years ago. Member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church. She was the beloved wife of 55 years to the late James Honiotes; loving mother of Tina Dierkes of Ocean Shores, WA, Helen (Gregory) Bauer of Ft. Myers, FL, John J. (Lynn) Honiotes of Lombard, IL, Christine (Robert) Fassiotto of Portland, OR, and James P. (Marviene) Honiotes of Hamilton Lake, IN; devoted grandmother of 16; fond great-grandmother of four; dear sister of Elizabeth (late Nicholas) Honiotes and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her sisters Dimitra Chizmark, Irene Aggelopoulos, brother George Paraskevas Calamaras and loving brother-in-law Nicholas (Elizabeth) Honiotes. Funeral Services for Jennie Honiotes will be Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church for services at 9:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
