Tommy, My earliest memories are of my big brother. I can still see you and John as alter servers in Wood River and in Hillsboro. I thank God every day that I was born into such a loving and caring family. I remember when I fell on a bicycle and cut my leg on a broken seat and was trailing blood. You came by on your bike, saw me, threw the bike down and put me on your bike and raced me home for medical attention. When we were in Wood River and walked to school you were there to protect us as you were when we went to the Municipal Swimming Pool every day in the summer. I remember the day you left for the Army in Germany. Uncle Del took us to St. Louis for you to catch your plane. All the memories of our childhood are coming to me and I miss you so much. As adults when I would be home for Christmas and you and Margaret were driving to E. Alton or Panama for Christmas, I could hardly wait to see you again. You are my hero and I love you very much. Give Margaret my love when you meet her in Heaven.
