Obituary of Ronald H. Podlasinski

Ronald H. Podlasinski, age 75, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at his home in Morris. Ron was born in Chicago on November 3, 1948, to the late Henry and Ann Podlasinski.  He received his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He retired from Commonwealth Edison after many years of service. While he lived in Morris, he enjoyed his time volunteering for the Morris Fire Department. Following his retirement, he also spent time teaching computer courses at Joliet Junior College.

Ron is survived by his sister, Bridget Podlasinski; and dear friends, Halina and Paul Simmel.

Funeral services for Ronald H. Podlasinski will be Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where he will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt.
