To the Barone family and all loved ones of Dan. I am so very saddened to hear of Dan’s passing. Danny and I are cousins just a year apart in age, we grew up together and hung out whenever we could, even went to Canada with Don and friends of the family. We were able to build many memories in our earlier lives which I have never forgotten. Later on, even though our lives went in different directions, I love my cousin Danny Barone and he has always had a place in my heart as he always will. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to all of you fine people, as well as my Love, Honor, and Great Respect!

Dear Barone Family:
I am so saddened to hear of Dan's passing. I have known Dan since the early 1980's - we attended JJC together and worked in the computer lab at the same time. We became fast friends, and even though I moved very far away from Joliet, Dan and I kept in touch with each other and occasionally met in Joliet to share memories and catch up on our lives. I will always remember Dan as positive, smiling, and always radiating a calmness that I admired and emulated.
May he rest in peace.
God bless you all, and keep Dan's memory alive!

Even days after Dan's unexpected passing I'm still at a loss for words. While there are others in Dan's campground family that knew him better, his charm, whit and loving personality did not go unnoticed. Dan managed to touch the lives of us all in one way or another. His passing will forever leave a void in our hearts and soles.
My most sincere condolences to Jesse and all of Dan's family during this most difficult time. He has left us all with many great memories and a smile that we will never forget. Rest easy my friend.

Just so you know… the world is a sadder place today. Our friend Daniel N. Barone left us suddenly yesterday afternoon due to a heart attack. Which can’t be true because he said he had that removed years ago. I am glad I had him as one of my very best friends. I got to tell him recently that I knew we would always be friends and that I loved him. Best friends are a treasure. I’m glad I had a great one. ❤️ Rest in peace Dan. I love you.

This man will be missed by everyone who ever knew him. I was honored to call him a friend. Dan and I would have lengthy conversations about anything in the world and he was one of the smartest people I ever knew. He was fluent in American Sign Language and cared for his deaf and blind aunt for many years. He was the most caring individual you’d ever meet, while also being the most carefree person in the world. My love for Dan will never be forgotten.
