Obituary of Tomas J Stankus

On April 20, 2024, Tomas Stankus, age, 30, the beloved son of Rimas and Christine, passed away peacefully. Tomas was a kind and gentle soul; he had a natural ability to interact with animals that would approach him without fear. Tomas’ smile was infectious, and he had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed playing his guitars and listening to music. He looked forward to the family’s annual vacation to Northern Minnesota during which he frequently would reel in the biggest fish at the resort for the season. Tomas had a deep respect for all of our Military Veterans.

Tomas was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his parents, uncles, aunts, and numerous cousins.

Tomas’s light touched many and will continue to shine in the memories of those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name would be appreciated to Wounded Warrior Project or your local animal shelter.
