Obituary of Sharon L. White

Sharon L. White, age 84, of Shorewood, and formerly of Joliet, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024 at Lightways Hospice.

Born August 2, 1939 in Murphysboro, IL, she was the daughter of the late Leslie A. and Esther A. (Wilson) White.

Sharon was raised in Dupo, IL, and lived there until moving to Joliet at the age of 30.  She enjoyed a 35 year career as a CNA for St. Joseph Medical Center, retiring in 2004.

She is survived by many lifelong friends and coworkers, as well as her church family at Westview Baptist Church of Shorewood.

Graveside services for Sharon will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery, 12740 Oddfellow Lane, Benton, IL 62812, where she will be laid to rest next to her parents.
