Obituary of Jason G. Jordan

Jason G. Jordan, age 50, of Rockdale, passed away peacefully on, July 13, 2024, at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet with his family by his side. Jason was born on May 3, 1974, in Evergreen Park, IL to Gilbert and Susan (nee Ahern).

He attended Marian Catholic High School, and then went on and graduated from Northern Illinois University with honors. Jason’s greatest joy was being a loving and patient father to his children.

Jason is survived by his children, Cole and McKenna and their mother, Marci; his mother, Susan Snyder; his father, Gilbert (Phyliss) Jordan; sisters, Jodi (Brian) Johnson, Jillian Hedenschoug, and Kristin Jordan; brothers, Jack (Emily) Jordan, James Jordan (Jessica), and Jeffrey Jordan (Belen);  nieces and nephews, Annabella, Brooklyn, Madison, Parker, Kaylee, Cody, Ryder, and Jameson; uncle, Bart Ahern; and cousins, Kevin (Jen), Patrick, Matthew, Josh, Katie, Mickey, Lisa, Jeff, Brad, Eric, Mark, Kim, Sherri, and Mike.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Jordan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Project Fire Buddies would be appreciated.

Visitation for Jason G. Jordan will be at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Holy Family Catholic Church,600 N. Brookforest Dr., Shorewood, at 10:00 a.m.  The interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
