Obituary of J Ivnik

Ivnik, Betty J. Age 85, a lifetime Joliet resident, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, May 17, 2012 with her devoted husband and loved ones at her side. Betty was the beloved wife of nearly 65 years to Mel Ivnik and a dear aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Evelyn Lopez and one brother Louis Tusek. She retired after many years of service from the Deaton-Kennedy Company of Joliet and was previously employed in the Laundering industry. Betty enjoyed golfing and traveling with her husband, as well as gardening. Funeral Services for Betty Ivnik will be Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
