Diane, Dawn, Kevin & Nicholas,
We are grateful for the time we did have with Bob. He was a loving and kind soul, always ready to help. We miss him already. We are glad we met you both outside Holy Family Church so many years ago. I know we will think of Bob often, and, of course, you Diane.
Love,
Donna & Claude

Thinking about Bob when our Reavis group would get together brings Back such memories. We always knew when Bob was around because he always had funny comment that would lead to one funny thing said after another with the Reavis group. Les & I would talk about the beautiful stripping & staining Bob did on their house in Odell. Another thing about Bob was that he played the accordion. We never knew it, but one day Sue, Diane, & me came back from being out doing a girls thing & we walked in the house & there was the most beautiful music coming from upstairs. I said Diane who is playing that beautiful music & she said oh, that is Bob playing. I think I talked to Les about Bob playing the accordion & that I could have listened to him play forever. Having such beautiful friends is a gift. Not many people can say that, but truly Les & I were truly blessed to have known him.
Diane, may God wrap his arms around you & keep you in his loving care. Diane, I know you will miss Bob dearly, but always remember that Bob was chosen for you & you will forever think of all the memories that you & Bob shared over all the beautiful years you spent together. You took care of him with such strength & love. We love you Diane & feel blessed that we knew Bob.

Bernadine and I want to express our sincere condolences on the loss of Bob. May all your fond memories sustain you during this difficult time.
I always enjoyed working with Bob. He was an exceptional mechanic, good friend, and brother. After retiring we enjoyed fond memories of tales and stories of our work experiences together. Bob and I never missed an opportunity to share a cold beer with many laughs.
He will be missed.

My husband Rick and I will certainly miss Bob. If you took one look at Bob you knew he was Irish with that Irish charm, glint in his eyes and mischievous grin and Bob was a proud Irishman. Bob was an awesome storyteller, especially stories about his days in the Navy that would have us crying in laughter. The four of us Bob, Diane, Rick and I had wonderful, memorable times together, playing cards, eating out, visiting at each others homes and especially our annual Christmas celebrations with our families. Bob was a great friend and on numerous occasions helped my husband with his electrical expertise that was quite amusing at times. Bob loved his family and he was so proud of his Grandson Nic. Bob was a great Godfather to our daughter Meredith. Bob’s wife, Diane took great care of Bob and with her gift of gab and sense of humor helped them both through the trying times. Rest in peace dear friend.

Bob was part of our REAVIS group. Always good for a laugh or two. He will be greatly missed. My husband Frank really enjoyed being with him and they shared common medical problems. He had such a rough time with his COPD and now I am sure he is in a place of beauty and serenity. God bless Diane, who took such wonderful care of him. He was so very blessed to have her. God bless you and keep you, Diane and blessings to your family.
Love Sue and Frank Roessler

I met Bob as we attended Reavis High School. He was the handsome boyfriend of my dear friend, Diane Kruse, that I have known since our days as classmates at Maddock grammar school. Redistricting sent me to Tobin but we renewed our friendship as we started high school.
Diane and I were in the senior high school variety show and then worked together as secretaries at the high school and even though I moved away, there was a group of friends that renewed our friendship as a couples group. Bob and Diane have always been cherished friends.
The husbands of the group had great times together as the women socialized. Bob was always sharing his stories about being part of the drag racing crews to the envy of the rest of the husbands. And his accordion prowess prompted a gift of a collector miniature accordion to encourage his continued interest in playing the accordion.
Bob passed much too soon and will be truly missed. Our condolences to his whole family but most sincerely to Diane, Dawn, son-in-law Kevin, and of course his grandson Nicholas. Nicholas.
