Obituary of Richard D. Parker, Sr.
Age 67, of Joliet, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet. Richard was born in Chicago, IL, on December 25, 1956, the son of the late Eldridge and Gloria (nee Inmon) Parker. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and the Army National Guard.
Richard worked as a CNC Machinist for many years before retiring. He loved watching movies and collecting Harley Davidson shirts from all around the world. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and little dog Peanut.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Nancy; children Michael Alan (Jean) Levine, Richard Parker Jr., and Shaun Levine; grandchildren Kolton, Kristopher, and Kayden; sisters, Dorothy Voice, Barbara Kemmerling, and Tammy Falkner; brother Steven Parker, and several nieces and nephews.
As it was his request, cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
