I.met Sharon in 1991 when I returned to our reserve unit at O'hare. She and I both transferred to Maxwell in 1996 where we became very close. She really encouraged me to become an officer and when I did, Sharon and Sue pinned my rank on shoulders in 2004. I'm honored to.have known them and to have served with them. May Sharon's memory be a blessing!

I am so sorry for your loss.
Sharon was a classmate at UIC, a member of the 63rd AES with me and a friend. I am so glad I was able to see her recently at the dedication of the bench to her in Plainfield.
She will be missed as she touched many .

Sharon was quite the character. Always able to put a smile on one’s face. She and Sue were such a loving couple. My heart is sad for the loss, but it’s also so very happy that they are together again in heaven. ❤️

I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Sharon while working at the Plainfield Township Community Center. Actually, she was one of the first lady's i met when coming on board 2 years ago. She was so kimd and had a contagious smile from ear to ear. We became friends rather quickly. I always had the pleasure of making her a cup of "real" coffee, when mostly we only served decaf. She was a beautiful soul and human being, and I will miss her.
Rest in peace, Sharon. XO.

Dear Andrews Family, I am truly and deeply sorry for the loss of Sharon. She was a friend thru grammar school and high school. So many wonderful memories I have of hanging out with my friend Sharon. Volleyball, softball, ice skating at Harrison Park and Pickard ice rink. Roller skating at St. Steven’s. She was a great friend whose memory I will always cherish. One of the last things we talked about on the phone was the love she has for her family. Never ever forget that. Again, my deepest sympathies for you all. Rest In Peace Colonel Sharon.

It was a true honor to work alongside Sharon in the SICU at Hines. Though I was assigned as her preceptor, in reality, she became mine. Her brilliance and dedication made her one of the finest nurses I’ve ever had the privilege to know.
