Dear Kelly, I’m so sorry to hear of Bernadine’s passing and the loss of your mother, & my sister. All my life she would say.. these two are my sister’s and she would hold on to me. No one had a bigger heart than Bernadine. She was reminding me of Aunt Marilyn at times who I miss deeply. Bernadine loved deeply and I’m so glad for all the happy, special times we had growing up. She taught me so much.. how to clean a house, make homemade chicken soup, which I loved and how to drive a car. She would let me drive her car.. then baby sitting you on the weekends when you were a like 4 years old. You were a little cutie. But growing up on Gritten St, she would take me to school for show n tell. I’d sit in a desk with her at school. The cousins would come over and we had fun. Take the bus downtown, buy a coke was a big thing. But we usually stayed in the back yard and played. It was a wonderful life, filled with love from your Grandma, my Aunt Marilyn& uncle Sonny. Lucky to be surrounded by wonderful people. . Bernadine loved family, and she never forgot anyone. Growing up with her was fun with our cousins, Linda, Debbie, Kimmie, Laurie, Aunt Shirley. Aunt Liz. I hope she knows how much I loved her, She had a great sense of humor, loved her laugh, she always cared about me. She loved you & her grandchildren. She will be missed greatly, I still can’t believe this. God knows the book of life and it’s so difficult to understand sometimes. May the love she gave you Kelly stay with in your heart and give you strength knowing your where loved. I hope to see her again in heaven. She was so sweet, I loved her so much.!! Always will!! miss her already. She really loved the good old days. Me too. With love, in Jesus name may she rest in peace. Love Gina xo
