I first met Jeremy at Justin Casillas' house a night he slept over. We met and instantly clicked both of us loving music and being extremely goofy. I remember us playing Guitar Hero all night and talking about girl problems lol. Instantly becoming best friends that night is how I remember him. He was just so charismatic and could become cool with someone very quickly. Very sad to see him go but I pray he was able to make to Heaven where I hope to see him again one day.

Jeremy was a joy and I'm forever grateful that God allowed me to love him as his "church mom". Sooo many conversations, prayers, tears, laughter! He and Xochi lit up a room. It was such fun to watch them as they began to see something unique and beautiful in one another in my small group. I think I knew they liked each other before they did. (I think I told them that, too.)
My most recent 1 on 1 time with Jeremy will now be a most treasured memory. He wanted to grab a pizza slice while we had our occasional "catch up chat". We cried and prayed (a lot), laughed hard (a lot), and even did a little happy dance all at the bench on Rt 30 and Douglas. He was unashamed to pray or dance with an "old woman" in public. That was one of the things I loved so much about him. I never want to forget the sound of his laugh! That's my favorite!
Jeremy loved God, Xochi, his family and his church family so much! We are all better people because of the gift of Jeremy and he will be loved and missed forever.
Love you so much, Kiddo!
