Obituary of Dorothy Jahnke

Dorothy Jahnke (nee Krueger) Dorothy Jahnke passed away at the Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, NV, Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her daughters, Sharene (Richard) Parini and Linda (Patrick) Fitzgerald of Las Vegas; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Lydia Scheele and Tina Knowles. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert; her parents, Mattie and Edward Krueger; a sister, Evelyn Bartel; and a brother, Walter Krueger. Dorothy was a 50 year member and Past Worthy Matron of the former Marguerite Chapter, OES, the former Bethany Shrine OWSJ, and a Life Member of Friendship Court O. of A. She is currently a member of Daylite Chapter No. 30 and Starlight Shrine No.1 of Las Vegas. Funeral Services for Dorothy Jahnke will be Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Rodney Juell will officiate. Eastern Star and White Shrine Services will also be conducted. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Susan G. Komen Las Vegas Cancer Walk, 4850 W.
