My deepest condolences go out to AJ’s family. May you find comfort and strength during this difficult time. AJ will always be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and presence. I first got to know Arnold in junior high school, where he was always a force among the students. He continued on in high school and was our class president for the class of 1976. AJ’s willingness to engage with those around him and be a positive force will always be remembered.

I went "steady" with Arnold when I was in 8th grade and I believe, he was in 7th. He was the first person I went steady with and It lasted about a day. We didn't even know what to say to each other. It was not meant to be. That is my memory of Arnold at Hubbard Trail.
My condolences to the family.

I had the great pleasure of working with AJ and his office while being employed by PNCs Title Company. He was always working hard to insure his clients received the best results during their loan process and would frequently call me to discuss. What I loved so much about AJ was his intensity and passion while following up for his clients and making sure everything possible was being done to expedite the process. I recall him calling me and getting very angry about the current status and he lashed out at me accordingly. But of course then his loving nature kicked in and he apologized profusely! I know he approached his job the same way he approached Life and his beautiful Family…with intense passion & love each day. AJ, I feel so grateful I was able to get to know you professionally and personally. You exuded so much love for your Family and they are making sure your Memory lives on. Love you!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rossi family. AJ was so proud of his family. He and Missy raised 4 amazing, thoughtful, caring, hardworking kids. AJ was a true community man. We are very thankful for the time, energy and passion he put into serving on the Board of Education for Minooka Community High School. He made MCHS better. His children will be a positive influential legacy to a good man. Thank You AJ!

I would give anything to be able to buy AJ another Rum & Coke and hear that most awesome laugh. It was such an honor to share messages with him over these last few months. He never wanted to talk about himself, only to hear about you and remember great times together. One of the all-time best, he will be missed greatly!

Where to begin? Since 1971, I’ve never had more laughs than when I spent time with AJ. I chose to attend ISU only because AJ was going to Wesleyan. Although that didn’t last, our friendship did.
I couldn’t have been happier for him than when I met Missy, the love of his life. What a match made in Heaven!
I can honestly say his infectious laugh that could be heard constantly will never leave me; AJ, you are truly one of a kind and definitely irreplaceable. Godspeed to you, my dear friend!
Much love, Terri

I gave the kids piano lessons for years and watched as Missy and AJ guided them along their path with love to grow into the beautiful adults they are today. I remember AJ would always get home while I would be in the middle of one of the girls lessons. Nick must have been either first or last. Every single time we would have to stop because they couldn’t wait to give their dad a hug and a kiss when he walked through that door….even though he told them to get back to lessons ha ha They just couldn’t wait to see him and he couldn’t wait to see them. Then the chatter and laughter would start up. I loved it. Such a beautiful family. Rest in peace AJ
