Obituary of Teddy T. Szczepankowski
In Loving Memory of TEDDY T. SZCZEPANKOWSKI
We are deeply saddened to share the news of Teddy’s passing on October 24, 2024, at the age of 66. Teddy was renowned for his endless generosity and selflessness. He consistently put others first, whether by sharing meaningful gifts without occasion with those he cherished or those in need, by providing food or drinks to those laboring in the field, or by giving vegetables from the garden to whoever crossed his path or came to our home.
Teddy felt deeply. His passion was evident in his interactions with others. He spoke freely and honestly, often sharing truths that others may have hesitated to voice. While his straightforward nature sometimes caught people off guard, it was always rooted in a desire for authenticity.
As a protector, Teddy was steadfast in his loyalty. He faced challenges with a stubborn resolve that both inspired and sometimes frustrated. Those who had the privilege of knowing and loving Teddy will remember his incredible capacity for kindness, love and the way he never forgot a single detail—always recalling the little things that made each relationship special.
Though we grieve the loss of Teddy, we take comfort in the legacy of kindness and honesty that he leaves behind. He exemplified the importance of taking care of others and of standing up for what we believe in.
Teddy is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Sharon; sisters/brothers-in-law Karen, Bob, Denise, John, Karl, Wayne, and Donna; special God-children Trudy and Bobby; nephews/nieces Steven, Genea, Angela (Greg), Michelle, John Andrew, Matt, Aaron, Crystal, Julian (aka JK), Samantha (Kyle), and Cody (Mary); great nephews/nieces Hunter, Myles, Paisley, Amiaya, Stephen, Abbie, Kiara, Leia, Shaun, Kylie, Nick, Jackson, Thomas, Roxie, Roman and Leo. As he joins the many who loved and predeceased him, may they welcome him with open arms.
Rest in peace, dear Teddy. Your love and spirit will forever live in our hearts.
