Mary Beth was a good friend as well a teacher. If it wasn't for her, I would not have become a Church Lector. I only said one sentence behind the podium, and I remember she said I was perfect. I will miss her.

Mary Beth was one of the best musicians I have ever worked with - and a good friend. We were partners in music, liturgy and parish life through a lot of years and laughed and cried together through good times and challenges.
I have missed the times we embraced new musical adventures together and made them work. I also miss the way we often seemed to read each others minds as to what to do next. This kind of musical partnership is a rare treasure as were the hours we spent on the phone trying to "solve the problems of the world." Rest in peace, Friend. You were one in a million.

My condolences. I didn't know Mary Beth for very long, but what I know of her is her smile, love of music and family, Dr. Who, popcorn and chocolate. May you be at peace, Mary Beth, and may you watch over your children and grandchildren.

Mary Beth was an extremely talented pianist. She directed liturgy at St John's for almost twenty years. As a church cantor, I might occasionally get lost on a verse of a responsorial psalm. Mary Beth could figure out where I was at on the fly and follow my melody for the rest of the verse.
She was so kind and understanding. A very warm and caring person. She will be greatly missed.
