Obituary of Josephine Jankowski

Josephine E. Jankowski (nee Delrose) Age 84. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet and a Joliet area resident before retiring to Florida in 1989, returning home this past year. A life member of Cantigny Post #367 Ladies Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Frank L. Jankowski; daughter Leanne Mudron; parents, Ralph and Antoinette Delrose; three brothers, Alex, Nunzio and Charles Delrose; and two sisters, Angeline Hurley and Mary Dantino. Survived by her daughter Joanne (Robert) Bailey of Joliet; her son Tony (Therese) Marino of Joliet; son-in-law Rolland Mudron; ten grandchildren, Mark (Karen) Mudron, Molly (Daniel) Loftus, Michelle (Frank) Madura, Meghann (Hugh) O'Hara, Patrick (Kimberley) Bailey, Greta (Todd) Erbs, Rob (Kellie) Bailey, Anthony Marino, Annie Marino and Emily Marino; 15 great-grandchildren, Alex, Emily and Natalie Erbs, Drew, Jack, Will and Thomas Bailey, Abbey, Alyssa and Adam Bailey, Aaron Madura, Finnea and Mimi Loftus, and Rauri and Maggie O'Hara; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services for Josephine E. Jankowski will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
