Javorcic, Pauline R. Age 87, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. She was born March 1, 1925 in Whiting, Indiana, the youngest of ten, and last surviving child of Anna (Yurkanin) and John Valovcin. Beloved mother of Carol Borysowicz, Bob (Monica) Javorcic, Tom (Bobby) Javorcic, Jeanne (Alex) Ninchich and Jim (Barbara) Javorcic; devoted grandmother of Erin, Maureen and Katie; Christine, Peter; and Ella; proud great-grandmother of Nichole, Ashton, Aiden, Isabelle, Lilah, Elijah and Gavin. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Peter Javorcic (1999), and her parents. Pauline was a member of the Medical Mission of the Cathedral of St. Raymond. She was a retired bookkeeper, having served the Joyce Beverage Company for many years. Funeral services for Pauline R. Javorcic will be held Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to M.F.P.A.
