Phillip J. Briski
Phillip J. Briski passed away peacefully at the age of 88, on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. Phillip was born on May 26, 1936, in Chicago, where he lived most of his life until moving to La Grange, IL, and finally Joliet.
Phil was an avid, long-time Cubs and Bears fan, who wore their team apparel with pride. He was ecstatic to witness his teams win a Super Bowl and a World Series. Phil was an easy-going guy who made people laugh.
Phillip is survived by his loving daughters, Debbie Parish, Donna (David) Sarpolis, Denise (Kevin) Krasneck, and Darlene (Brian) McCartan; as well as his adoring nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by loving wife, Dolores (nee Zygadlo) Briski; his parents, Leo and Sophie Briski; and his brothers, Paul, Ted, and Leo.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 12:30 p.m. As it was his request, cremation rites have been accorded.
