Obituary of Marsoulla Kesich
Kesich, Marsoulla
"Mary"
nee Honiotes
Mary (Marsoulla) passed away in her sleep May 27, 2011. She was born February 25, 1928 to the late Nickoletta (nee Loutos) and Nick Honiotes. Raised on their asparagus farm in Joliet, Illinois along with her loving sister JoAnn. She married her beloved Husband George, of 46 years and resided in Plainfield. Mary was petite only in body - her heart, her soul and her love of life and family was enormous. As a beautiful young girl, she modeled, opened her fashion boutique as well as ran the family business - what a sight to see this little gal driving a 1 1/2 ton farm truck with no power steering delivering produce to Chicago for her father's business. She attended St. Francis Academy, graduated from Joliet Township High School. She was a life long member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Joliet and the Philoptochos Society. Mary is survived by her husband George, her sister JoAnn, two sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law and several relatives in Europe. Her lively spirit will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2011, 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church for services at 9:30 am. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church Renovation Fund would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. with Trisagion services at 6:00 p.m. at:
