Obituary of Rosemary Keweza

Rosemary Helen Keweza (nee Nemrava) Age 96, of Braidwood and formerly of Lockport and Chicago, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born July 16, 1912 in Chicago. Survived by her daughters, Barbara Soviak (Ken) Morrissette and Janice (Jack) Holley; one son, Joseph (Jean) Keweza, Jr.; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Roseanne (Lawton) Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Finally united with her beloved husband, Joseph Keweza; sisters, Anne, Muriel and Antonia; son-in-law, John Soviak and many others including her beloved "Daddy". Rose loved her family, gardening, cooking, chocolate, and staying up at the family cottage at Bankson Lake in Lawton, MI. Gram Rose will be greatly missed for many reasons, but especially for her big smile and "goofy" laugh. Funeral Services for Rosemary H. Keweza will be Monday, August 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
