Jim has been my surrogate Dad, my dear friend and confidant. He was a man with great integrity and love for his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed.

It was a beautiful summer day for a baseball game when I officially met Jim. Pat and Kevin were on the field and we had come to cheer them on. I knew the minute Jim took my hand that he was something special. Somehow, it just came out, "Nice to meet you, Dad." At that moment, he put his arm around me and the connection was sealed as we sat and watched the boys...lose their game. Jim meant so much to so many on a complete individual level. He was one of a kind to be able to give so much, love so much and sacrifice so much. Peace, love and many blessings to you, sweet Papa.
In 1979 Jim Casey said to me, "No matter what, behave ethically."
This advice has enabled me to have a 34 year career in this crazy business
instead of the 6 months predicted. He was a GREAT MAN and a wonderful friend, with a natural sense of fun. Go with God, Jim. Be at rest.
We offer our condolescences to the Casey family. Jim was a wonderful man and he helped us in many ways in the past with our mother. We enjoyed talking to him and always saying hello when we saw him at Mass at St. Jude.
Papa, you were the greatest man that I have ever met. We will miss you more and more every single day. I love you. "May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand."
