Warm hugs to each of you--Lynn, Ray, Jr., Phyllis, Mary Ann, Ben & Crystal, Matt & Jessica, Joe, Jon & Leslie, and Aaron. I really wanted to come with Bill to Ray's memorial, but God had other plans. I can't help but smile when I remember Ray directing all the kitchen activities during get-togethers at your house--it was generous of you all to let him think he was in control. Ha! It won't be the same without him. I can picture Ray and God up there in Heaven sitting at the table, directing all the angels as they prepare an enormous feast to welcome him home. As time goes on, it will be little things like this that you will cherish--the quiet moments, the teasing, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, they will help to push away the pain and bring joy to your lives once again. God bless you and comfort you all.

You will always be remembered for your kind heart and friendship and for being a dad to all the kids who knew you. May God wrap his arms around you and keep you. Be at peace
