Obituary of Bradford Gebhardt

Bradford W. Gebhardt Age 56, of Minooka, IL, died suddenly Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in Rochester, Minnesota. He was born September 28, 1958 in St. Louis, MO to the late Lyla and Arthur "Art" Gebhardt He attended the University of Florida in Gainesville and was a U.S. Navy Veteran who was honorably discharged in 1985. Beloved husband of 20 years to Dawn (nee Mikulski); loving father of Derrick, Jenna and Kimi; He is also survived by his father, Art Gebhardt; brother, Greg Gebhardt and sister, Gail (John) Hill; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his mother Lyla. Brad was employed for 20 years at Exelon Corp. as a Nuclear Engineer. He was a NASCAR fan who cherished being a devoted father and husband. Funeral services for Brad Gebhardt will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory can be made to benefit his children's education.
