A letter to my father-in-law.......Thank you for accepting me and loving me from the start. Thank you for trusting me with your son. I never let you down with the promise to love him and cherish him, and I never will, not even now. Watch over him and guide me as our journey with Alzheimer’s continues. Thinking of you and the memories we’ve made puts a smile on my face. Thank you for bringing Diane and Glenn into our lives. I couldn’t have asked for a more loving mother-in-law. My closeness with her comforts me in ways I can not express. Thank you for loving my children unconditionally. My heart is heavy and I miss you. I wish we had more time together, but am grateful for the time we have spent together on this earth. Until we meet again.......Godspeed Bob❤️
Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

I was fortunate to know Bob when I worked with him many years ago at Mitsubishi. I was green and Bob mentored me and helped me a lot. A true gentleman and just such as spiritual person. I remembered he loved to play golf and I think he swam a lot, he was in amazing shape. He was a true professional at work but a guy you could have a beer with and talk about life. I never thanked him enough for what he did for us. I remember meeting Diane several times and I know they were very close because he would talk about her a lot and with great love and respect.
A great American veteran, and a humble man.

To the most kind and gentle man and my brother-in-law Bob. Rest in peace Bob.
Gone but never forgotten.
"May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand."
