I was a high school classmate of Ed’s and always admired his intellect and achievements. I’d seen him at a couple of reunions and it was always nice to “catch up”. I’m so sorry to have learned that he passed away. My sincere condolances to his family.

My condolences to Jeanne and the Lagger family. Ed and I attended St. Ray's elementary school together and enjoyed many good natured 'academic rivalries.' Since my family moved to the St. Louis area in 1971, I've not seen him in recent years except for various class reunions. I'm enjoying reading what others who have known him more recently have said about him. I'm sure he will rest in peace; I hope his family can as well.

RIP to our beloved SFA English teacher, who knew how to make learning fun! He made an indelible impression on his young students, and was one of the most committed and passionate educators I have ever met. I was lucky to see him at our 40th high school reunion and sad to hear of his sudden passing. One of a kind, he will be missed. May he find a blissful place in the great beyond and know how deeply he was respected and loved. Deepest condolences to his wife, Jeanne and our alum, Vicki and their families.
