I always enjoyed talking to Mike at larger family gatherings. He enjoyed talking about his joy rides on his bike and any new additions to his coin collection. Mike was always willing to take the time to acknowledge people and he had a way of making them feel comfortable. His friendly smile and sense of humor will be missed.

I have fond memories with Mike, from when he took Bob and I to the Palos Park tobaggan slides when he got his drivers license, to when we taught Miltiadis and Michael to fish at Lake Delavan. We worked together the wax that tobaggan to get the maximum speed on the slide. We will miss his smile, words of wisdom, and friendly teasing, and sense of humor.
