It’s been probably 50 years or more since growing up with you and Mark on Leland while I lived on the street over. I think I saw you last over 30+ years ago and was told about your passing from my brother Larry. Always remembered your sense of humor and generosity, rest in peace!

May your spirit ride into heaven with your most bodacious smile; and, forever knowing you will be greatly missed by those left behind. Rest in peace, Ron, my big brother.

First, to Family and Friends of Ron, I share thoughts and prayers.
For the past six years, until he retired, I had the pleasure of working with my friend and co-worker Ron at the Embassy Suites MagMile.
On Saturday mornings, (our ritual) he would drop by my work area and for a period of time he would sit & share stories of his beloved family, kids and more. We shared/covered so many subjects including Ft. Myers, Florida (fishing, beaches, where to go and enjoy a beverage, smoke a cigar etc.); where some of my family has been since the early 60's.
His passion for specific subjects along with his attempt at humor accented by his ever presence of whistling, whether approaching my desk or his way of saying "hey" from the 15th floor (looking up trying to see where the music originated), that sound, his sound filling our hotel Atrium.
At Lunch time in our associate café, we would often banter/laugh back and forth. In the end, looking around, everyone was smiling.
His soul touched many and we are sorry and sad he has gone to sleep.
Even now, I can hear him conversing with St. Peter at the gates. "Ya need alittle W-40 on that right gate. I have some here on my tool belt."
As the bible says: I am with you always.
He is with me and many of us.
RIP my friend. It was a fun ride.
