Karen Lynn Hoffman

Age 66, Formally from Palos Hills, peacefully passed from this life, Thursday morning, June 23, 2022 at her home in suburban Crest Hill IL.

Karen was born January 13, 1956 in Chicago, IL to the late Betty (Lasky) Minarcik and the late Robert Minarcik. Karen was a graduate from the class of 1974 from AA Stagg High School in Palos Hills.

While in high school, Karen met her future husband, Dennis Hoffman with whom she had recently celebrated 44 wonderful years of marriage.

She will be cherished and remembered by her loving husband Dennis Hoffman as well as her brothers and sisters Nick Minarcik, Laurie Jansen (Robert Jansen), Mike Minarcik, Leslie Quinn (Matt Ewert) and Crystal Minarcik. Karen is a beloved aunt and will always be remembered by her nieces and nephews, Kyle (Emilia), Jordan, Maci and the late Paige Quinn.

A beautician by trade, Karen loved her occupation and took great passion in making each and every person feel their absolute best, she was an exceptional person who loved and cherished her two dogs (Holly) and (Mindy). A hardworking woman who was a jack of all trades, aside from her hard work she was very crafty and enjoyed going and being a part of craft events with her husband Dennis, She was very family oriented and enjoyed life and will truly be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Karen was a light to others and brought joy to each person she knew and loved, she will forever be in our hearts.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation rites will be accorded.
