Obituary of Alex A. Stanley
Age 30 of Chicago, passed away suddenly Friday, July 1, 2022. He was born July 26, 1991, the son of Debra (McManus) and the late Edward Stanley. Alex was raised in Custer Park, IL, and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Western Illinois University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He was an avid Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan.
He is survived by his mother, Debra Stanley of Shorewood; his brother, Jason (Nina) Stanley of Naperville; his sister, Sarah (Marc) Such of Naperville; his nieces and nephews, Mila, Greyson, and Andrew Stanley, Landon Such; numerous aunts, uncles, and dear friends also survive.
He was preceded by his father, Edward Stanley (2021).
Visitation for Alex A. Stanley will be Thursday, July 7, 2022, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet from 3-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, July 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held privately at Woodlawn Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to calsangels.org would be appreciated.
